How it works · Study plan

Will this fit your schedule? Let’s do the math.

ExamZilla is built in small, repeatable steps you can do on a lunch break or after work. Pick how many hours a week you actually have, and we’ll show you a week-by-week plan and when you could be done.

The ExamZilla method

Easy first. Then exam-hard.

Every lesson follows the same four steps, so you always know what’s next. You learn the idea in plain English, prove you get it on easy questions, then push yourself on questions closer to the real exam.

Every lessonAbout 2 hours start to finish, and easy to split across a few sittings.
  1. 1. Lecture video

Watch the concept explained step by step, with real examples.

    ~25 min
  2. 2. Textbook outline

The same concept in writing, explained so simply a kid could follow it.

    ~20 min
  3. 3. 20 warm-up questions

Easy on purpose. Lock in the basics before things get tricky.

    ~25 min
  4. 4. 30 challenge questions

Harder, scenario-style questions closer to the real exam.

    ~50 min

Repeat for each lesson in the module

  1. 5. Module quiz

Mixed questions from every lesson in the module, to make sure it all fits together before you move on.

    ~40 min

Repeat for each module in the part

Every partOnce all the modules are done, it’s exam rehearsal time.
  1. 6. Comprehensive practice exams

100 questions from every module, on a 3.5-hour timer, just like test day. Your score breakdown shows which modules need work.

    100 questions each
  2. 7. Module focus exams

Weak spot? Take a 100-question exam on just that one module until it stops being a weak spot.

    100 questions each

    Your plan

    Build your week-by-week plan.

Be honest about your hours. A plan you can keep beats an ambitious one you quit in week three.

    Plan around the exam

    A few dates worth knowing.

Your study plan works best when it lines up with how the real exam is scheduled.

    • Take one part at a timeYou can take the three parts in any order. Study one, pass it, then start the next while the testing habit is fresh.
    • Book when your scores say soSchedule the real exam once you’re consistently scoring 70% or better on comprehensive practice exams. PSI tests most of the year, so you won’t wait long.
    • Mind the March–April blackoutThere’s no testing in March and April while the exam is updated. If your plan ends then, keep reviewing with focus exams and book for May.
    • You have three yearsEach passed part stays valid for three years from the date you pass it, so you have time to finish the other two.
    Questions

    Schedule questions.

    What if I fall behind?

Nothing breaks. The plan is a guide, not a deadline. Every lesson is self-paced, so you pick up wherever you left off. If you’re on the monthly plan and expect a long break, the lifetime plan removes the clock entirely.

Do I have to do the lessons in order?

We recommend it, because later lessons build on earlier ones. But you can jump to any lesson, and you can take the three parts in any order.

Do I need to take every practice exam?

The plan includes all the comprehensive practice exams and a couple of module focus exams on your weakest areas. Take more focus exams on any module where your scores lag behind.

Can I study on my phone?

Yes. The videos, outlines and question sets all work on a phone, so a commute or a lunch break counts.

How accurate are the time estimates?

They’re averages. Some lessons will take you longer and some will fly by, especially in topics you already know from work or your own taxes. Use the plan to set your pace, then adjust.

Got your number? Start week one.

Monthly access is $64.99 a month. Lifetime access is $349.99 once. Both include every lesson, question and exam.
